Mountain Vista Apartments in Sierra Vista, Arizona

Since moving in we have had 2 different property management companies. The first was was great. They fixed things in a timely manner, were professional, offered great move in specials, etc. 3 months after we moved in we got this new company, Most of the office management lasts 2-3 months tops before they either quit, are fired, or replaced. Most of the downstairs apartments have leaks because the stucco is cracking so the water runs down the wall and into the sheet rock. The management company claims they have been "gathering bids" for the last 2 months to get this problem repaired. For all we know mold could be growing in the walls and expose us to heath risks. Now the apartment complex is apparently up for sale, so the management company is more than likely dragging their feet because they won't be around much longer. Do not rent here. The management company doesn't care about its residents and that is why more than half of the units are empty. Update: It has now been 5 months and our wall still isn't fixed, in fact it has gotten worse. We now have a hole in the wall where the water finally caused the drywall to collapse. Corporate claims this is the first time they have heard of the problem. Avoid these apartments like the plague. Once our lease is up we will probably no longer be living here. Edit: don't trust positive reviews. Rain"blow" Waterman, that was our nickname for her because she is great at blowing smoke up your ass, works for this company. She is just leaving bullshit reviews to make people think they are good. She was one of the people that we had issues with when we lived here. As another reviewer stated the fact that the manager has changed every 2 months is a strong sign that the property is still garbage. Save yourself some time and don't move here. The property management company apparently promoted one of their cleaning people to be an office manager. I also want to notate that when this new company finally started fixing things there were doing it with no work permits, and an unlicensed contractor. We called the city and found this out. The city put an immediate halt to their "improvements" until they got the proper licenses. the lengths that these people lie and deceive is astounding.
